POCCard or Linktree: what to compare

Linktree and a digital business card look alike and are not the same tool. If you are choosing between them, the question is not which is prettier: it is which direction the contact travels.

What this page does not do: it does not tell you what Linktree costs, what its plans include or what it cannot do. Those change without notice and we do not track them, so publishing them here would be publishing something we cannot stand behind. Check them on Linktree’s own site. Everything said below about POCCard is in our product today.

A links page sends people out: it exists to move an audience from one profile to somewhere else. A business card brings someone in: it exists so a person you just met can save you and you can keep their details. Same shape, opposite job.

Questions people ask before buying.

Is POCCard cheaper than Linktree?

We will not answer that here: their prices change and we do not track them. POCCard is $29 a year or $129 once, with 30 days to get your money back. Compare it against what their site says today.

Can I move from Linktree to POCCard?

There is no import. You fill in your card once — name, role, phones, links — and print or write a new NFC card. If you already have blank NFC tags, you can write them yourself from an Android phone.

Do my clients need an app?

No, and that is the part worth checking on any card you compare. Tapping or scanning a POCCard opens a web page, and saving the contact opens the phone book.
